Auditor General and Deputy Auditor General held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of North Macedonia H.E. Ami Larsson Jain.

Auditor General Maksim Acevski expressed gratitude for the previous support from the Swedish Embassy, particularly the taxpayers of Sweden. Mr. Acevski presented the results of SAO work as the supreme audit institution in the country, which continuously contributes with the fulfillment of its legal competences and its added value for a more effective control environment.

The Ambassador expressed compliments for the results of SAO work and the successful project activities with UN Women in the field of gender equality. Madam Ambassador also expressed preparedness to provide support to SAO future activities due to recognized quality of SAO as an institution with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
